I. GENERAL PROVISIONSThe following rules (hereinafter referred to as the "Rules") determine the order of visiting the Park-Monument of o Landscape Art of the National Importance "Mezhyhiria" (hereinafter referred to as the "Park"), located in Kyiv Oblast, Vyshhorod District, the village of Novi Petrivtsi, the main rights, obligations, and behaviour rules for visitors on the territory of the Park and its facilities, as well as ensuring favorable conditions for conducting excursion activities.Visitors who have purchased an entry ticket to the Park are considered familiar with and agree to these rules and bear full responsibility for non-compliance and violations. These rules constitute a public offer. By purchasing a ticket, the visitor automatically accepts this offer and undertakes to adhere to the Park’s visiting rules.These rules apply to all visitors to the Park, regardless of citizenship, gender, religion, age, and the purpose of the visit.The visit to the Park is subject to a fee. The cost of visiting the Park is specified in the price list.To visit the Park, the visitor must purchase a ticket and present it at the entrance control point.Each ticket grants the right to a one-time visit to the Park within one day.After scanning the ticket at the control point, the visitor must keep the ticket throughout their stay in the Park and present it upon request from the security or the Special Administration of the Park.Representatives of the State Environmental Protection Service have the right to conduct personal searches of individuals, belongings, vehicles, and check tools and products obtained from natural resource use.By order of the Special Administration of the Park, categories of citizens who are entitled to discounted tickets for Park entry may be determined. To purchase a ticket at a discounted rate, the visitor must present a document proving the entitlement to the discount.Excursion services are provided on a paid basis upon prior request.Excursion services in the Park are provided according to the approved theme, considering the Park’s capabilities, and exclusively by persons engaged by the Special Administration of the Park.Organized visitor groups are allowed to enter the Park only with an excursion service agreement or after agreeing with the Special Administration of the Park.Persons accompanying organized groups of visitors must inform each group member of these Rules.Professional video and photo shooting of exteriors and any other objects within the Park is allowed only with the approval of the Special Administration of the Park.Visitors who have purchased an entry ticket to the Park agree to have their images taken in photos, films, television, or video recordings if these are conducted openly in public areas during gatherings, conferences, or other public events, and the materials may be publicly shown, reproduced, or distributed by the Special Administration of the Park.Entry to the Park with animals is prohibited.
II. PARK OPERATING HOURS
Summer season (from May 1 to October 14): 09:00 to 21:00, daily, with no days off.
Winter season (from October 15 to April 30): 09:00 to 18:00*, daily, with no days off.
After the Park closes, remaining on the Park’s territory is prohibited.
*The working hours of the ticket office are indicated.
III. RIGHTS OF PARK VISITORS
While staying on the territory and objects of the Park, visitors have the right to:
Purchase a ticket at a discounted rate upon presenting a document confirming the entitlement to the discount;
Tour the territory and objects either independently or as part of a group excursion;
Engage in video and photo shooting for personal purposes;
Use the services available within the Park;
Contact the Special Administration of the Park for consultations or clarification regarding these Rules.
IV. OBLIGATIONS OF PARK VISITORS
While staying on the territory and objects of the Park, visitors are obliged to:
Follow the requirements of these Rules and the instructions of the Park's service and technical staff;
Maintain proper public order, follow etiquette, fire safety regulations, sanitary and hygiene standards, and other safety requirements;
Treat nature, culture, as well as the equipment and facilities of the Park with care;
Refrain from damaging information boards, boundary markers, and elements of recreational infrastructure;
Visitors must immediately leave the Park at the request of Park staff if their behaviour is potentially dangerous or harmful to other visitors, employees, animals, plants, or structures on the Park’s territory;
Persons accompanying children under 18 are fully responsible for their behaviour and safety and must supervise children during their stay in the Park;
Persons accompanying children under 18, as well as those guiding excursion groups that include children, are fully responsible for the safety and lives of the children on the Park’s territory.
Entry to the Park for children under 14 is allowed only when accompanied by adults.
V. STRICTLY PROHIBITED ON THE PARK’S TERRITORY
Entering the Park without a ticket.
Entering the Park bypassing designated entry points.
Being under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other intoxicating substances.
Drinking alcoholic beverages.
Smoking (except in specially designated smoking areas).
Riding on bridges or moving on the edges of slopes and ravines – either on horseback or by bicycle.
Feeding wild and domestic animals (except in cases where animal feed purchased on the Park’s territory is used in specially designated areas).
Movement, stopping, and parking of vehicles not agreed with the Special Administration of the Park.
Organizing games, sports activities, and competitions in areas not designated for these purposes (bridges, paths, roads designated for special transport).
Organizing, announcing, or conducting events (sports, cultural, religious, family, corporate, youth, environmental protection, including animal protection, eco-educational, scientific, rehabilitative, etc.) without prior approval from the Special Administration of the Park.
Polluting the Park’s territory with household waste, lighting fires, collecting fruits, berries, mushrooms, flowers, insects, birds, fish, animals, or damaging greenery.
Damaging or defacing (including writing or drawing) the facades of pavilions, buildings, and other structures of any form and size (lamps, trash cans, benches, sofas, etc.), touching or moving Park sculptures.
Damaging fences, information signs, stands, pointers, and other infrastructure objects of the Park.
Posting advertisements, posters, leaflets, or any other information or advertising materials without approval from the Special Administration of the Park.
Conducting trade (of food and non-food goods) without prior approval from the Special Administration of the Park.
Entering restricted areas (including temporary barriers), service rooms, and facilities closed to visitors.
Erecting advertising stands, fences, tents, etc., without approval from the Special Administration of the Park.
Carrying firearms, cold weapons, ammunition, drugs, explosives, flammable, poisonous substances, and items that can harm others.
Swimming, fishing in the Park’s water bodies.
Sliding down slopes of ravines.
Using pyrotechnics, flying balloons, or launching "Chinese" or "sky" lanterns and other flying structures.
Conducting excursions by visitors, guides, and other unauthorized persons without approval from the Special Administration of the Park.
Taking actions that threaten the preservation of cultural monuments, destroying or trampling plants.Using images of the Park's objects obtained during photo and video shootings, and audio recordings of excursions for commercial purposes without prior approval from the Special Administration of the Park.
Carrying out economic, commercial, and other activities without prior approval from the Special Administration of the Park.
Fencing off parts of the paths (or areas of the Park) or creating obstacles for the free movement of visitors and vehicles without prior approval from the Special Administration of the Park.
Using bicycles, scooters, electric transport, roller skates, skateboards, or other means of transportation on the Park’s territory at speeds exceeding 20 km/h, without adhering to traffic rules. Given the dangerous slopes in the park, it is prohibited to descend the slopes using bicycles, electric transport, scooters, roller skates, skateboards, or other means of transportation. The transportation of vehicles must be done manually.
Aerial photography by any flying apparatus.
The passage of all types of motor vehicles, except for those approved by the Special Administration of the Park.
In addition, any activity that may lead to damage to the Park's integrity is prohibited on the entire territory, including:
Damage to the soil cover;
Pollution and littering of surface and underground waters;
Pollution and littering of soils;
Harvesting and collecting/destroying all types of plants and their parts;
Cutting or damaging trees and bushes, removing hollow trees suitable for use by animals, removing fallen leaves from tree plantations;
Planting trees, bushes, and other plants without prior approval from the Special Administration of the Park;
Lighting fires, burning dry leaves and grass;
Destruction and/or harm, hunting, collecting, catching, or removing animals from their habitat, as well as damaging/destroying their habitats, including destroying objects necessary for the life cycles of species, except for scientific research and restoration measures for rare and endangered species included in the "Red Book of Ukraine," regional lists of species under special protection, and/or international protection lists;
Hindering the free movement of wild and domestic animals across the Park territory.
VI. THE PARK ADMINISTRATION HAS THE RIGHT TO:
Change the Park's working hours;
Deny entry to the Park or services to individuals under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other intoxicating substances;
Close the Park for visits in whole or in parts.
VII. LIABILITY AND CONTROL
When purchasing tickets for the Park or when visiting the Park for free, as provided by these Rules, each visitor agrees to these Rules and undertakes to comply with them.
Visitors are responsible for their lives and health during their stay in the Park, including during strong winds, storm warnings, and air alarms. In case of an air alarm, visitors must leave the Park and proceed to the nearest shelter, using the interactive map in the "DIIA" app.
Adults and guides accompanying excursion groups are fully responsible for the safety and life of children visiting the Park. Leaving minor children unattended is prohibited. Entry to the Park for children is only allowed when accompanied by adults.
The Park is not responsible for accidents that occur with visitors due to violations of these Rules.
Each visitor is responsible for causing mechanical, thermal, and chemical damage and destruction to greenery, harming animals and objects located on the Park’s territory, following Ukrainian law.
A person who causes damage to the Park’s property and natural resources may be held administratively or criminally liable and required to fully compensate the damage.
The Park is not responsible for lost items on its territory. If your belongings were lost, contact security at the central entrance and provide information about the lost items and your contact number. If you notice unattended items or suspicious objects, please notify the Park's security.
The Park staff monitors compliance with these Rules.
In case of violations of these Rules or refusal to comply, visitors will be forcibly removed from the Park's territory without a refund of the ticket price. In cases specified by Ukrainian law, individuals who violate these Rules will be held administratively, civilly, or criminally liable.
